Thermo Scientific™ Q Exactive™ GC Orbitrap™ GC-MS/MS System

The Thermo Scientific™ Q Exactive™ GC Orbitrap™ GC-MS/MS System is a high-resolution accurate-mass (HRAM) mass spectrometer coupled to a Thermo Scientific™ TRACE™ 1300 Series GC. It is providing a resolving power of m/Δm > 120’000 at m/z 200 and an accuracy Δm < 2ppm.

With its electron ionization (EI) source, small, non-polar molecules can be ionized.

Samples can alternatively be inserted by means of the direct insertion probe (DIP) for the analysis of compounds not suited for gas chromatography.
